Booking is essential. Max group size 6
These are precautions to keep us all safe in the current covid pandemic.

​Joining information

1. Bookings will be from 1-30 pm at 5 minute intervals, please if someone is already at the start wait 2 metres away to be booked in. One person per group to come to take photo of route map. Similarly at the finish.
2. Please bring the exact amount of money for a suggested donation of £5 per family, a box with a slit and hand sanitiser will be provided.
3. Please note the route is over part of the Heath and sadly not suitable for buggies or wheel chairs, you need to watch out for holes rough ground etc.
4. Please be aware of other users of the Heath, watch out for golfers too.
5. If you start to catch up with another group, please slow down and keep a safe distance away, but please keep to the trodden paths.
6. At the start there will be a map of the route to follow on a board, please take a photo to use on your hunt. The picture of a bear with a comment, will be found tied to notices, trees and bushes. Look carefully.
7. When you find a label with a bear on it, please Do Not remove it, leave it for the next group to find. A note pad and pencil may be useful if you want to make a note of which ones you find.
8. At the finish there will be a large cut out Bear to stand by and take a photo of your group. Also a list of Bears you may have found.
9. If you come by car, please park in the car park by the Heath Cafe, proceed from there to the main path going towards the Golf club, you will find us there at the start from 1-15 pm. We think the hunt will take approximately 45 minutes.
10. Please wear suitable clothing and shoes, be aware there are brambles and nettles on the Heath also rough terrain.
